Greetings from Cornwall!

We’re in Penzance, Cornwall…will be here for a few days before driving back up the coast. We LOVE Cornwall! We’ve had such a lovely time so far, in spite of the fact that the weather hasn’t been that great.  But we put on our rain gear and go out anyway. We even went on a coastal walk in the Exmoor National Park in the pouring rain. And who says English food isn’t good? We’ve had some fabulous meals! Anyway, I have to be quick…This is the first time I’ve been able to get my hands on a computer, and it may well be the last until we return to Italy. The reason I can’t stay here long is that this computer belongs to our very kind and helpful B&B host. But I just wanted to say a quick CIAO to everyone…hope you are all well. I don’t have time to read any comments or messages right now, so please don’t get antsy if I don’t respond…I do NOT have access to my e-mail…

Another week on holiday…OK, time to go off and have some fun! Ciaooooo! 🙂

  1. Hi Margaret,
    I love your healthblog!
I came across it while researching on curcumin.
My dad has been diagnosed with metastatic colorectal cancer since 2007 nov. He has completed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lines of standard chemotherapy and now his disease is no longer responding to this standard treatment so it has been stopped. The oncologists told my dad he had 3-6months to live, and that was 2-3wks ago. His tumors are growing fast. He has metastases to the liver and lungs.
We don’t have much time left.

So we are trying to find alternatives. Have you heard of soursop leaves? We are from indonesia (living in Toronto Canada now so my dad is being treated at the famous princess margaret cancer hospital) and many people from there can’t afford chemotherapy or any other medications so they resort to natural products. Another natural product they are using there is the curcumin. So my dad has been eating the soursop leaf tea and also the curcumin for about 2wks now.

I read that posting by that guy on the nano-curcumin and how its side effects have not really been established but the fact that it is made of silica does not sound too safe! Have you tried nano-curcumin, and I read that you are taking the D’s best and NSI curcumin. Are you still taking these brands? I would like to buy the same brand you are taking. Where are you purchasing these from? They are quite expensive to be taking 7-8g per day. We are currently using the AOR branded curcumin.

I can’t wait to hear from you. Email would be great if you could because I am not familiar with blogging and not sure how I would find your reply.

I hope all is well with you and your health. Keep writing, and thanks so much!
