I don’t believe that diet alone will stop the progression of MM, but I do think it will help. Since reading about Michael Gearin-Tosh’s alternative experience with MM, I began juicing every day. I bought a twin gear juicer, a Greenstar, and juice everything from apples and carrots with fresh ginger to broccoli and cauliflower, stalks and leaves included.
Sugar and cancer. Last year, I ordered Patrick Quillin’s book on cancer and nutrition, titled “Beating Cancer with Nutrition.” That is where I read about the cancer-sugar connection. I began decreasing my sugar intake. Indeed, I felt better, fewer headaches and so on. I added no sugar to anything I ate. I have since slipped off the no-sugar wagon a few times, because of my love of chocolate. I still have to work on that.
I will be writing more about diet and nutrition, which is an ongoing project of mine. I will also provide a recipe section. I use a lot of turmeric in my cooking, yes, in addition to my daily intake of 8 grams of its active ingredient. I also grind flaxseeds over my food. More information on that soon.
