I don’t remember who sent this bit of important health news to me…well, no matter. I thought I would publish it today since it is closely related to my recent post on carbohydrates. It gives advice on what we (=especially native English speakers) should eat and why…
CONCERNED ABOUT TOO MANY CARBS IN YOUR DIET?
For those of you who watch what you eat, here’s the final word on nutrition and health. It’s a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.
1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
CONCLUSION
Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.
Thank you for the information. I am going to give up speaking english ASAP! I’ll be so stuffing myself and drinking that I won’t be able to speak at all!
We think you should speak Italian exclusively from now on!!
… except maybe if we ever get to visit you!
Hoping e-mail in English doesn’t count.
brilliant, how do people come up with these things, made me laugh out loud though.
I have just been thinking about the Vit D and have browsed around a bit and found this very interesting piece. I came across the Marshall protecol a while ago, but didn’t go into it any further. Perhaps he is a researcher worth looking into. Let me know what you think, of course you may have already come across it.
